“Good design is thorough down to the last detail.
Nothing must be arbitrary or left to chance.”
-Dieter Rams
Chris is a senior industrial designer with over a decade of professional experience designing products that balance clarity, performance, and long-term usability. He approaches every project with precision and intent, focusing on thoughtful problem-solving rather than surface-level styling. His work spans home appliances, home goods, consumer electronics, medical devices, tools, and interior objects—each shaped by a disciplined, detail-driven design process.
Currently, Chris works at BSH Home Appliances, contributing to product development for Bosch and Thermador in North America. He collaborates daily with cross-functional partners across engineering, product management, UX, manufacturing, OEM suppliers, and overseas teams, navigating complex constraints to bring products from concept through production.
Chris’s process is rooted in research, iterative prototyping, and close collaboration, with a strong emphasis on how products feel and perform in real use. He designs with the discipline of an engineer and the sensibility of a craftsman, ensuring every decision—from form and mechanism to materials and finishes—is intentional.
Throughout his career, he has worked with both domestic and international brands including simplehuman, JL Audio, Clarion, JoyJolt, Takeya, Celestron, InDispense, Longshot, and Merlin Mind—delivering products that hold up both in daily use and under design scrutiny.
For Chris, great design isn’t decoration—it’s clarity, judgment, and execution working together to solve real problems well.
