The Goal
The goal with Pangolin was to handmake an outdoor knife that felt good in your hand while also being tenacious in the field.
The desired bevel was attained by designing and constructing a custom filing jig. By subjecting the blade stock to a heat treatment and then tempering, the blade hardness and resilience was achieved.
